About:

DBORN IC LLC develops and manufactures integrated solutions for the communications, aerospace, defense, life sciences and daily used electronic devices. We analysis, design, fabricate and characterize innovative radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) solutions in order to provide low-cost, low-power-consumption and highly-efficient hardware components that will be used extensively in next-generation wireless applications. Our team explores new ways to make electronics smaller, cheaper, faster and more efficient. The firm is located in Lacey, WA, and founded in 2022.

Dr. Debasis Dawn is Founder and CEO of DBORN IC LLC. He is an established and well known researcher in RFIC for wireless communication applications and has more than 30 years of experience including both industry (Fujitsu and SONY) and academic positions at University of Washington, North Dakota State University and Georgia Tech. He has published more than 70 papers in international journals and conferences and holds two US patents.

Dr. Seyyed Babak Hamidi is co-founder and CTO of DBORN IC LLC. He is a recognized researcher in wireless technology and has more than 10 years of experience in radio frequency integrated circuits (RFIC), radar, and wireless sensors applications using silicon-based CMOS/SiGe process technologies in academic positions at University of Washington and North Dakota State University. He has published more than 15 peer reviewed papers in international journals and conferences and has two provisional US patents.
